Set within the rolling landscape of Matcham, this 5-acre north-facing property was transformed into a timeless country garden inspired by the relaxed elegance of the Hamptons. The landscape was designed to complement the character of the home, combining strong garden structure with softer, layered planting to create a refined yet relaxed sense of arrival.
A considered palette of exposed aggregate concrete, brick and natural stone establishes a warm, textural foundation, while clipped forms, sculptural olive trees and seasonal planting bring rhythm and softness throughout the garden. Generous lawns and defined garden spaces create a natural transition between the architecture and the surrounding landscape, providing areas for entertaining, retreat and everyday enjoyment.
The result is an elegant and enduring landscape that balances cultivated structure with the relaxed character of its Matcham setting.
