This project involves the landscape design and redevelopment of this historic ‘Darnick House’ a circa 1918 heritage-listed residence. The property features a traditional front façade consistent with early 20th Century Australian residential architecture and has sympathetically modernised the rear. The design respects the heritage value of the original structure while delivering a functional, aesthetically cohesive outdoor environment suited to contemporary living.
At Hidden Potential Landscape Design, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work — the Darkinjung people. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise their deep and ongoing connection to Country.
We are inspired by the land’s ancient stories, native flora, and natural forms, and we honour the legacy of care, design, and knowledge that First Nations people have practiced for tens of thousands of years. In every landscape we shape, we strive to walk with respect for the land’s original designers.
